Update: THERE IS NO BED BUGGS!!

We were welcomed with cookies and water and the volunteers took our wet stuff to hang it at the fire to dry!

The property is huge, cozy, heated, with lots of art and details. The vibe is incredible and you can feel the spirit of the Camino!

Dinner was completely vegan and plentiful.

This place is really like a warm hug

This has been the best albergue experience so far in the Norte.

It offers and amazing dinner and breakfast. Has a washer dryer combo and the hosts are most amazing people.

If you are on this route, this albergue a must visit.

Don’t forget to contribute to the donation box!

Already. So early in the season. They don't seem to care very much.

Weird place. On the one hand, hot showers, dinner served and has heat. On the other hand, strange to be lectured at for a long time time (especially when people are exhausted from walking), and to listen to how important this man's philosophy is. Was a rather uncomfortable experience.

We arrived in Guemes early so sat at the bar in town. Excellent beer! The albergue is significantly out of town but offers dinner and breakfast which were both good. The speech by the founder was a bit long winded but it’s all a donated based place so you just go with the flow. Lots of beds so you are guaranteed a space and nice to meet people.

Beautiful location and very friendly people. Great facilities (apart from refreshments but it’s in the middle of nowhere so that makes sense). The speech the man gave was very long and a bit condescending at times but he’s a lovely man who really loves his Albergue and the Camino. Not racist at all like some people were saying. Good meal (vegetarian option available). A really strong pilgrim vibe.

Got here exhausted and had nothing to be offered except water.

This Albergue had a cult type vibe to it which was shown when we were all starving waiting for dinner and then this old man gave a racist speech translated by his accomplice the giggling girl that went on for over an hour and had numerous people annoyed due to the length of the speech and racist comments and constant giggling. The whole thing was just a waste of time and he told basically told us to wonder off the trail and get lost.

The dinner was good but some of the volunteers were very rude to the pilgrims. The old man then rang a very loud cowbell and told us it’s not about donations but donate. (Something he made clear severely times). I donated 20 euros out of fear that I’d be attacked in the night.

Left at 4 am due to being too frightened to sleep (some guy was sleeping outside) do not stay here

got there at 2 was offered a glass of water then showed to my room no
refreshments to buy until dinner which was supposed to be at 8 but then some old guy did a talk for over an hour that put everyone to sleep by the time he was finished we were all running to the dinner table but then he said no theres more its art talk now by the time we finished dinner it was 10.30 was constantly reminded to make a donation
