I can only echo the sentiments of the previous commenter. Spotless, with many nice touches. My room had a perfect view of the beach across the road.

A little hard to find, in a modern block.

Absolutely no quibble with the €28 charge.

This is one of the very best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. I arrived cold, dripping wet and hungry after a long day walking through endless rain. The woman on reception couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The whole hostel was warm, spotlessly clean and brilliant facilities - washer and dryer, free toiletries in the bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with free coffee, tea and cookies (!), a ‘chill’ room that included a swing seat overlooking the sea - they even provided ear plugs! I was very sorry to leave this morning.

What a find! Everything is so well thought out, super clean and very generous in refreshments and kitchen area. Fabulous views of the sea and great location. Amazing

This was a great place to stay with a supermarket close by and a well equipped kitchen to cook food in. Coffee, tea and cookies are complimentary. The staff are fantastic! The beds are very clean, comfortable and have a curtain(my personal favourite). The view from the chill room is breathtaking.

Great location with view to ocean and playa. Very clean, modern large rooms. Sheets, towel, doona & even earplugs await you. Very welcoming staff. Kitchen, sitting room, lockers. Bathroom in each bedroom and are huge.
I loved this hostel and would rate it as the best I’ve been to.

When you want to stay a night in Gijón, go to the Boogalow Hostel. It's a stonethrow from the Beach and you can ask for a bed with Ocean View. A small, modern and stylish place where you can feel like home. Good Service, nice and friendly Stuff, a kitchen with Tea and Coffee for free. Highly recommended!

Definitely recommended! Gorgeous views and great, clean rooms. Friendly staff. 45 for a double room when booking directly with them on same day. Recommended to book ahead. We had the last beds when calling around 16.00h on a Thursday.

Very nice hostel. Clean, friendly, kitchen, loundry machine. Room of 4 beds with sea view €25. 6 beds €20. Option to stay more days. Gijon is a nice city, multiple stores like decathlon and shoe shops. Nice beach too. Love it!
