One of the best albergues I've stayed at. Extremely cleaned and comfortable. Right on the Central Way. Cost is 16 euros as of March 2024. Comfortable common rooms as nd very clean kitchen to use. Helpful and friendly staff.

Wonderful place to begin your camino. You can easily book ahead of time for up to two nights. Hosts are kind and welcoming. Place has a good kitchen and a beautiful back garden and a cat. Enough charging points and wifi. They make you keep your bag in a locker which keeps dorms clean.

This is a clean, homely & welcoming albergue. We took a rest day here, after starting in Lisbon and what a great choice! Hospitaleros are very kind and helpful.

Very welcoming hosts and convenient. Pharmacy is 100m and supermarket is 200m. The Camino arrows guide you right there from the Cathedral.

Perfect accomodation for the start of your journey. The people working there as volunteers are really welcoming and nice, the place is clean, large and beautiful but the best thing are the other pilgrims. Lots of pilgrims start from here or end there journey here to take the plane back. So you can get lots of great tips. Highly recommend!
You can stay many nights …

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Very unwelcoming, aggressive and rude. Was really looking forward to staying here based on the other reviews. Was greeted without even a hello but just a "do you have a reservation and leave your things and come back at 2:30" basically was being shoved out the place and it was raining outside all morning. I came back to grab something from my bag and was equally answered without a single word but scowl face pointing at the sign (i speak english,Portuguese and spanish..so what gives?) that they are closed until 2:30 i walked in and the host asked me several times what it was that i needed to grab from my bag...?? All alluding to how bothersome pilgrims were to them ..could you imagine walking 15-20 km and being greeted this way? Ended up doing a last minute booking on a religious holiday when accomodations were very scarce. Needs change of hosts and staff....not the albergue and camino way to interact with pilgrims.

Camino de Sant…

Great place to start the Oporto leg from

Camino de Sant…

Arrived here last night and felt welcome from the start. Super friendly staff. A very nice environment. Beautiful garden and a shared kitchen. Plenty of good eatery’s in the area. Another plus is that you can also get you camino passport here and get your first stamp. 12 euro’s a night for a good bed, clean bathrooms and a hot shower. Happy days!

Camino de Sant…

Its one of the real pilgrim places on the camino portugués.
