The host is a control freak. He has security cameras in common area, he mops women’s bathroom when a woman was in shower, and came into women’s room at 9:25pm with flashlight which is unacceptable.

Attention to detail, Jose is very kind and thinks of everything. The rooms are modern with high, comfortable bunk beds, each with charger and shelf with light. Great showers, washing machine, kitchen, fridge, coffee machine. He even has rollers for sore muscles. In the morning he had our shoes placed on the steps with a bum cushion, a shoe-horn and card! He is also the baker, so in the morning he's open downstairs for fresh bakes.

This Albergue is closed to the river and after a difficult walk from Rabanal del Camino it was just I wanted. There is enough space between the bunk beds, we stay only three women in the room and the hospitalero was kind enough to help us with laundry. Also, the next morning when we left he provided us with pillows on the stairs to put on out shoes and a nice card with Molinaseca, Highly recommend Albergue Senot Oso!

I had good expectations based on some of the reviews here. But there was no fan no AC and no curtains on the windows so if you open the window you get a bright light shining on you all night. But you have to open the window because the room is so hot. Also he locks you in until just about 6 AM which I think is a safety hazard for a fire.

Excellent facilities, very modern, run by an ex pilgrim so plenty of details like small rooms, lights for each bed, great washer/dryer which make the place special. No dinner but plenty of options in town.

Camino de Sant…

July 2021…great location, very clean, the Hospitalero is also the towns Baker…fresh bread & pastries in the morning if desired…nice small kitchen with a coffee machine that surprisingly made Great coffee!! It’s a small albergue with very good wifi. Hospitalero has tons of info on the journey ahead if you inquire. Closes at 22h. I left a few items in the locker provided and he personally drove and returned my items to the next hostel I was staying…class act!

Camino de Sant…

The albergue seems fairly new. The beds are good and very solid, the rooms are not crowded. 1 toilet 1 shower for ladies the same for men.
But the owner is an absolute control freak that will be on top of you for absolutely anything. He gave me the freaks and because of this would not stay here again.
The town is worth staying, its a gem.
