No heat (6°), no hot water (no shower), no hospitalario, no answer to phone calls for assistance (after 4 “unavailable” responses, rec’d text msg), not even a sign on the building identifying it as an Albergue.

Same problems as May ‘22. This owner has no desire to repair the problems…just collect his €5 / peregrino.

Arrived at 15:00 on a Tuesday. The place was spotless. Instructions available regarding linen and payment. I have only gratitude for this albergue

Really good facilities plus a great nearby bar/restsurant
What more does a peregrino need.

Camino de Sant…

It is a perfectly normal albergue just like any other. For 5 euros is totally fine. It is not as dirty as written below. It has a spacious kitchen, clean sheets, hot water, dining area, nice sitting area outside. No need to go to the casa rural.

Camino de Sant…

We showed up around 12:00 and the door was unlocked. All fine. There was a paper hanging that said the hospitalero would come at 13:30 to collect the donations. If he didnt show, we had to put the money in a mailbox. It was a Saturday, so nobody showed up. There was no stamp. The kitchen was disgusting, with flies everywhere. The bin had not been emptied for a while and was completely full. Bed sheets of the previous pilgrims were still on the bed. It was very cold. The paper also said the heating was programmed to go on, that didn’t happen. All together not the best experience. There are beds though. If you’re not picky, you can decide to stay. The food in restaurant RosaMari was good.
