Had a great experience here. Met lots of great people. The bar was amazing and the communal meal brilliant. We had the option of purchasing a packed breakfast. Such a great atmosphere. Everything clean.

Clean, good food and a nice bar. I particularly like how you have to store your back pack and take to the room your essentials. I’m had a great night of sleep on a full belly.

The alberque is clean and nicely decorated. Clean sheets on the beds. Blankets available. In this time of the year no dinner or breakfast. Possibility to order food in neigbourhood and a Italian restaurant nearby!

It's a nice location with a beautiful garden and a bar where locals go to as well, so that was lovely. Well organised and clean.
On the other hand, for 15 euros in a private I wasn't too impressed they didn't even give sheets; the 15 Eur dinner definitely wasn't worth it (salad and pasta with very little veg in the pasta sauce).
It is good though to stay here instead of deba because then you don't have that uphill 5k in the morning after Deba when the way from here to Markina is already pretty exhausting, so it makes the next stage much better (the long uphill on the way to markina used to be in the shade, but they had to fell the trees).
There is little to no servicios until Markina, and no fountains, so make sure to bring all your water and snacks on the way.

Camino de Sant…

Amazing little albergue. Bar in the albergue and restaurant down the road with full kitchen facilities. Very well organised. I'd recommend staying here as opposed to deba however the footbridge that makes this route 1km outside Deba was closed when we went (05/2022) and the alternative route takes you an extra 5km. We got a taxi on advice from the owners who were so helpful.
Lovely welcome and everything explained very clear. Gender split dorms.

Camino de Sant…

Yes, yes, yes.this is a lovely well managed and well maintained place to stay. Very friendly and great communal meal together.

Camino de Sant…

Well organized pilgrim experience. Good beds, showers, laundry facilities. They cook dinner and you can get breakfast in a little bag the night before you leave.

Camino de Sant…

The Albergue is situated in a lovely environment, the dormitory and bathrooms are clean. The dinner was delicious and generous. Most of all the owner was friendly and helpful. Will chose it next time.
