Room was great, but owners pretty unfriendly. The cafeteria was supposed to open at 7.30 - there was no sign of this happening. Newspaper guy directed Is to very friendly Bar Celta around the corner...

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The accommodations themselves were ok, at best. The beds were VERY creaky and there was just one toilet for the men. The entire place smelled the restaurant kitchen.

However, the worse part of the place was the outright hostility and rudeness of the staff. I ate lunch there and even complimented the food, but received such a gruff response that I went to a nearby grocery store for dinner.

I spoke to other pilgrims that stayed there and they said the same thing happened to them. Rather than deal with the open hostility of the staff, they found somewhere else to eat.

I understand that I am in another country and that people have different standards of service, but this was not that. These people treated their customers with contempt.

There are many albergues in this town. I strongly suggest you use one of them.

Camino de Sant…

Very clean and free paper sheets. Good location right by supermarket. Was only €10 for us. Own plugs by bunks. Bunks are very creaky and showers are not partitioned so if you are conservative maybe not for you. Only 1 toilet for girls not an issue for us as was not that many people there.

Camino de Sant…

Clean, but felt more like a municipal or xunta. The bunk beds are low and creaky, there are 24 beds per room and no hand soap in the restroom. I expected a little more for a private albergue for 12 euros each. Each bunk had its own charger and there were lockers. One men’s and one women’s restroom for 40 people, however that didn’t seem to be an issue even with it being almost full.

Camino de Sant…

Stay someplace else!! One bathroom and 40 people. Clean but felt like a municipal.
