I was greeted by Arturo in a calm & welcoming manner as he welcomed me inside from the rain storm outside. This is a lovely place with all you need. It’s a very calm environment & lights go out at 10pm and are turned on at 6am. Arturo & his wife are so sweet & I loved being there. It’s very clean and comfortable.

Such a treat to stay at this wonderful albergue. Very friendly, thoughtful and accommodating host. Clean, neat with everything you need. Love all the art.

The hosts go out of their way to provide comfort and tranquility. Relaxing music plays and their is beautiful pilgrim artwork everywhere- and you can create and leave a piece yourself. Cozy and right at the edge of town!

Here in 2019 and again in April 2023z. Clean, quiet, attentive owners. No dinner but a simple dinner.

Very kind and gentle host. One of the best Albergues on the Camino.

You quickly get the impression that this isn’t the owner having rules for his albergue but rather him having the albergue for the rules.

Other than that, it’s a gimmick albergue with a painting easel, about average beds, below average power plug distribution, and ok kitchen and exterior rest area.

The owner Alturo was a breath of fresh air helping us. He made sure after a super long walk I could rest and then check in, he tended to my blisters, offered me another pair of shoes, greeted us in the morning with lots of coffee and you could just tell he was happy to have us.
Large room of bunks with lockers and seperate bathrooms. Yes there are some signs up asking to clean up after yourself (see lots of rules comment in previous post) but sadly some ppl need to be told this stuff.
Would highly recommend!

This albergue has a lovely character, truly feels like a refuge. Owners are from Venezuela and they are both very nice. No bar/cafe, but a full kitchen to use and a real supermarket less than a half mile away. Peaceful garden to sit in, eat in, hang laundry. Quiet music playing and art! The walls are covered with art created by pilgrims, and materials to create are readily available. We were happy to find this oasis of tranquility.

Camino de Sant…

Very nice place but owners place too many rules for a private Albergue. Amazing village. Fox.
