The property is very large and comfortable. The Albergue offers heaters, real sheets and dinner (which other albergues nearby do not). We had a lovely community dinner with the 6 of us. There are 4 toilets and 4 showers. Fernando was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed staying here and would stay here again!

We stayed here4 years ago but it has been completely updated. Fernando has only had this place a couple of months and is very friendly. He provided a delicious dinner although there were only 6 of us.

We were two of only three staying here so service was personal and very attentive. Beds and space were comfortable and ample; bathrooms were large and clean (hair dryer, too!) Dinner was served on site and was sufficient but nothing special. Lovely setting in a beautifully-restored building!

Stayed here Oct 6. The accommodations were great but the food was ordered out came late cold and the orders were incorrect.6€breakfast was a rip off white bread toast cold with marmalade and instant coffee

Fernando, the host, did everything to please us. Even drove back to Sarria to be sure to have vegan food for the vegan guest. I had not gotten the required stamps and he helped me get those.
The place is modern and clean with lots of beds and bathrooms tho there were only two of us staying. Fernando gets joy by serving his guests!

Kind and generous host , that is really helpful to Pilgrims. The Albergue is about 500 metres past the village of Barbedelo , you find it on the right with an old sign by the driveway. It has big modern bathrooms, lovely bedrooms with soft white sheets , top and bottom. Perfect stay as the gardens for Pilgrims and the views are amazing.

This place is under new management for 2 months now (I am told) and frankly I found it amazing! Very-very clean and the host, Fernando was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend it!

Went to the door just before 1 pm. Another person was there with me and he said the lady inside didn’t seem to be too happy. I asked him to find out if she was opening or would be serving food being it’s the only place in the town who serves food. He talked with her and she said she had surgery and wouldn’t be opening or serving food for an undetermined amount of time. Just fyi!

Camino de Sant…

In October 2015 this place had a BIG problem with bed bugs, I've been bitten several times that night. The way it looked to me, the owner didn't do anything about it. Just check the wooden wall coverings.

Camino de Sant…

We enjoyed a cold evening here in March 2019. Carmen invited us into her kitchen to sit by the fire and chat while she cut turnip greens for Caldo Gallega. We were her first overnight guests of 2019 so the WiFi and hot water were not working properly yet, but it was still a memorable and charming experience in a rural home with charming hosts.
