Camino de Sant… (not verified)

If you're looking for nice beds and a good, unique pilgrim meal then you should stay at Santa Brigida. The accommodations were top notch for a dorm experience and the meal was a wonderful paella. There was a nun down the street who would give you a foot massage for a donation. Showers were difficult to figure out at first. Hot and cold controls are on the actual shower head.

Camino de Sant…

We tried to contact this albergue ahead of time, with no luck. We were fortunate to arrive early when they still had beds available. They seem to be co-managed with Albergue Juan de Yepes. Loved the cold foot bath in the courtyard for tired feet (and my injured ankle). Appreciated the chef providing a small vegetarian meal (soup) for us on short notice (we didn’t get the pilgrim meal— only one choice). We didn’t appreciate having bunks in close proximity to the bathrooms, so every time someone walked in during the night, the lights went on and woke us up. The bunks are nice, though. Each one has its own outlet and reading light. Beautiful views.

Camino de Sant…

Nice place, very cute courtyard, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, lots of space between the beds, big bathrooms, nice hosts, ok dinner. B where that the battle of the charge next-door rings every half an hour even at night. Good laundry service. Couldn't sleep all night. Fox.

Camino de Sant…

Nice family BUT:t apparently they allow “non-pilgrims” in. The 5 children were playing soccer until 11pm! The owners weren’t concerned when our room complained. They also shoved two extra pilgrims in our room on the floor and it was hot, smelly and cold.

Camino de Sant…

Loved this place! The best shower I’ve had so far, with a rain shower head and a separate area to dress in. Good laundry facilities, lots of room near bunks, every bed has a port, and very good meal. The church next door is very special and welcoming too!

Camino de Sant…

We booked a private room. It was gorgeous. Fine bathroom. Charming decor. It was so cozy for leg-sore pilgrims.
Dinner, however, was even better: paella. This was the best we’ve had in the two weeks to date of our visit: better than offerings in the big cities even.
The manager and the chef are each friendly, helpful and talented.
A friend visited a few years ago. This is one of two stays on the Camino that she recommended. We planned our nearby stages so that we could follow her advice. We are so happy and thankful that we did so.
