This was honestly the best night I’ve had on the Camino (night 6), and one of the best nights I’ve ever had in my life! The host Ivan was so incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about ‘The Way’ and pilgrimage.
Ivan himself made a huge chicken paella to feed 30 people, which was the nicest paella I’ve ever eaten! Dinner started with a large plate of salad and finished with a crème caramel for dessert, and of course served with vino (wine). Ivan played the guitar and sang for us, and also had many other musical instruments that other pilgrims performed for us as well. Everyone was singing along, a few of us (myself included) danced, and we had a human train going around la mesa area. I met lots of pilgrims here and we shared such an incredible night together! Lights out at 2200 and back on again at 0630. Sleeping was a large room filled with bunk beds, and a shared bathroom with 3 showers and 2 toilets, and another toilet downstairs. I also opted in for breakfast, which was fresh strawberries, toasted baguette with jam, a little muffin, orange juice and tea or coffee. Overall, I 100% recommend walking the little extra from Los Arcos and staying at Albergue Sansol, you will not be disappointed!

This is a very nice place and the host is so kind. He made a very good paella and we had a great time staying there.

The hospitalero is eccentric but very kind. Everything was fine, though the lights were on a timer which wasn’t ideal. Decent meal.

The ambiance here is wonderful! The dorm part is very roomy with ample space to place all your things. The showers are really nice and roomy-best ones yet. There is a washing machine for 2E, but not very much drying space in the courtyard. Dinner is 15E, but other options for food, too. The host is very friendly and kind.
I would highly recommend this place.

Bed Bugs- I got them here May 2023. Messaged them the next day when I realised it and never got a reply.

The dinner was frozen fish that was breaded and fried.

Amazing cooling foot pond and nice garden to relax in. Good food with lots of options. Friendly hosts but they only speak Spanish. There is a little grocery store about 30 meters away. All the beds are in one room and the bathrooms are on the same floor. Showers and toilets were clean.

Super cosy and quiet in spite of the decent sized dorm. Really nice atmosphere and right next to the pharmacy which was very handy. Definitely worth skipping Los Arcos to get to this place.
