A nice place, we booked a double room for 34 euro, it had an own bathroom and tv (with bbc), the host was quite cheerful - he welcomed us with a glass of sidra. Really close to city centre, many shops nearby, however, no kitchen or washing maschine.

Booking way overcharged me on this. We had a really smoke-smelling and dingy room. Doors didn't lock. Staff is helpful if eccentric. Not great but Gijon while an awesome city really does not have good options for pilgrims
