I stayed 3 days in Pineras, at Armando's, to rest a little. I really appreciated the welcome and hospitality of the house. There isbeautiful atmosphere. Very good atmosphere in the evening, the meals are plentiful and healthy. Definitely one of the best stages of my Camino Norte. I recommend. Ps: having helped make the beds I can say that I saw no trace of bed bugs, if that can reassure you.

We slept there, the staff were very friendly and hospitable there was everything we needed but unfortunately we came across bed bugs which made us very

A good place to rest with welcoming host. All amenities that are needed there. The dinner also very tasty.

This is a lovely Albergue with good facilities and a room full of bunks. The host works hard, speaking different languages and organising a fantastic home-cooked dinner and dessert.
Breakfast works on a donation basis. The ‘tips’ from the residents one night are used to provide breakfast for residents the the next night.
The host also recommended the costal route and it’s worth taking. Fantastic costal views from a good path, which goes all the way to Navia.

Really enjoyed my stay in this nicely located albergue! It was 10€, and there is a home cooked dinner available for 10€ if desired (dinner at 20:00, must let them know by 18:30). The hospitaliero was very welcoming and spoke fluent French (his English was good too).
He took the time to show us the coastal route to get to Tapia de Casariego, and it was wonderful - well worth the extra 4km if you have the time/energy.
We were only four the night I was there, in a very large dorm - which used to be the girls classroom of this school built in 1834 (the hospitaliero will be happy to share the history).

The women's bathroom had two toilets and one shower area with two showerheads.
There is a washing machine available, and an outdoor sink for washimg. Many clotheslines outside (with clothespins).
Kitchen was well equipped with stopetop, oven, two microwaves and pots, plates, cups, cutlery. They even had instant coffee and some tea available for pilgrims. I had what I needed, but he said there was a small market around 300m away. (Also had spices available, so I had a more flavourful meal than in other albergues).
Note: no WiFi

I received such a friendly welcome here. Lots of information about the upcoming routes. I messaged before to reserve a bed but didn't need to as there were only 4 of us here. There is a good shop before you reach the albergue. Make sure you get some dinner as there is nothing around here.

Camino de Sant…

Nice, 8 eur only. Everything what you need is here and fully equipped kitchen. BUT owners is not offering dinner yet, because its not many People yet. Later in high season when there Will be more People.

Camino de Sant…

I stayed in this Albergue on the night of April 18. As of that date they had been open for 20 days. It is run by to Spanish chefs who recently lived in Malaysia for four years and cooked at a resort there. It cost six euros to stay there eight euros for dinner and three euros for breakfast. The breakfast was a full breakfast! It is the best food so far on the whole northern Camino!

Camino de Sant…

Ana and Zeki are wonderful hosts and cooks. Clean, welcoming.tops my list. (July 2018)
