I have stayed in this wonderful albergue twice (2018 & 2022). The owner/chef/photographer is so helpful and charming. While walking in 42 degrees he called me to tell me to stay put as the heat was dangerous. He picked us up by car and then cooked a great dinner for us. Planning to stay there in June for my 3rd sleep-over. By the way the village is iconic and not to be missed.

This albergue was amazing!! The hospitals do was super friendly, and the albergue was very nice and clean. There is a bar/restaurant near the albergue that had a good lunch menu. There used to be a small shop in the town, but it closed down, so there aren’t many options for food. However, I had the pilgrim’s meal at the albergue, and it was outstanding! Stay at this place if you can!!

We made our reservation over Instagram message. Charming little town. Host is absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, clean, excellent meal. Little extras like soap and a hand towel in the bathroom, clothes pins provided when drying laundry, blankets to borrow, and optional bag breakfast for an extra fee made this one of my favorites so far.

Also, the church bell goes off ever 15 min from 7 AM to 11 PM

The host was very friendly and the location was beyond what I’d hoped for. I booked blindly just aiming for a private room for one night and was surprised to find a room with a private bathroom and an amazing view. I was throughly enchanted! Made all the uphills from earlier that day so worth it! Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in 2017 and back in 2023. Juan and his family welcome pilgrims and are so accommodating. Terrace is wonderful and lots of space to hang laundry. Fantastic dinner downstairs in what was a blacksmith’s workshop. Definitely call ahead to book.

Camino de Sant…

Loved the city and the albergue. Dinner was in an enchanting cave. Hosts were kind and helpful. My favorite place so far.

Camino de Sant…

Great place to stop. It was Hot during the day but the hilltop location really catches the breeze and cooled the town off. Great food and vegetarian friendly.

We loved this hostel, the lady of the house was very kind & a great cook, we had the pilgrim dinner it was fab, we were a large group (17) this didn’t faze her at all, it looked like a lovely village unfortunately due to an almighty storm the night we were there we didn’t get to explore
