Cannot recommend this Albergue enough. They make you feel very welcome when you arrive, the place is spotless and you can get your Muxia Compostela from reception (7pm onwards when I was there).

Angel and Celia treat you like family. Great, clean facilities. I’ve often stayed in the Albergue portion, but this time our Camino family decided fed to treat ourselves with the two bedroom apartment up top! Wow! Full kitchen and amazing views.

It was a year ago when I arrived at Bella Muxia on 11/2 coming from Finisterre on a 7 downpour kind of day. No place to stop to eat or get coffee. I did not see another pilgrim going to Muxia- did see a few going to Finisterre. I was fortunate enough to have booked a single room on the balcony. Angel greeted me, checked me in and walked me up to my room. Helped me take off my poncho and backpack and then gave me a hug. I was so grateful for those simple acts of kindness that when he left, I broke down in tears. I walked the Camino by myself for the last 4 out of 6 weeks on the Norte. And it was a perfect ending being in Muxia and being so taken care of and supported for my 3 days there.
Angel will always be my angel.
Was gifted to be able to reflect on each day of my Camino a year later. So grateful.
This is a perfect place full of magic and sacred moments.

Price is now 14 Euro for dorm bed but I reckon that's fair. Layout of dorm room is good - you feel like you get some privacy even though there are a lot of beds. You get a big locker for your backpack.

Big showers, good bathrooms. Big kitchen.

Seems very well organised and I had a comfy stay

A fantastic place to stay! The kindest and most helpful people are there to serve. They serve with a smile. They serve like you are family! I highly recommend Bella Muxía.

Second stay and it feels like coming home. Welcoming and gracious hosts. Each time we have had special treats given to eat. Kitchen is well equipped. Our special spot in Muxia!

Camino de Sant…

Comfortable, clean, well appointed, and spacious. Helpful, friendly staff. The very best on the Camino.

October 2021, €12: Perfectly nice Albergue. Large and plenty of space for bathrooms, laundry and drying room and huge kitchen. Kitchen is great for cooking in, well equipped and the cupboard and fridge has some basic supplies left by other pilgrims which is handy. Very friendly host, Angel. Paper sheets. Blankets available. Albergue is well serviced but was a little clinical for me without the character or charm of some more traditional Albergues.
However hood location to walk out to the chapel and rocks for sunset. I swam from a beach in Muxia and found mass in the chapel (Saturday 7pm) - both were highlights.
