Stayed here May 2023. Would stay here again because we enjoyed the outside space. The slapping solar consist of four bunk beds per room. Showers were nice with several stalls and separate men and women’s. The wash room is in a separate building being the seating area providing room for hand washing or washer and dryer use. The kitchen is small but has conveniences including a coffee machine with free coffee.

Loved this albergue. Good set up for bunk rooms, very nice hosts, good restaurant at trail. Loved the garden set up in back.

Enjoyed my stay, nice mostly quiet location. Separated dorm style rooms. There's an alcove by check-in that has vending machine and fridge with ingredients stocked for sale since there doesn't seem to be a dedicated market in this village. Beds are spaced out enough and common areas are very open and airy

Camino de Sant…

This was the albergue that made me realize I don’t like staying in albergues. The hospitalera was very friendly at check in, and the facilities are reasonably clean. But the rooms are cramped, the beds are creaky and uncomfortable, the showers are ridiculously small, and there is currently construction going on across the street which meant a generator was running well into the evening and early the next morning. And Ventosa itself is unlovely and dull and not worth the detour. Wish I had gone to Najera instead.

Camino de Sant…

Nice place to stay. I always like the multi-level places. A nice dining room on the bottom level with relaxing music playing and candles burning. A sunny courtyard offers a nice place to hang out and relax. Showers were probably the smallest I've seen yet on the Camino and hot water was scarce. Read past comments about a bed bug problem, but if they had them in the past, they appear to have solved the problem now. Overall a good place to stay!

Camino de Sant…

Very nice and homely place. The couple who owns it are friendly and makes a good atmosphere. At six a clock beautiful wake up music is played over loudspeakers. the place has a nice little garden to relax in.

Camino de Sant…

Arrived in significant pain with tendonitis and after explaining this I asked if we could possibly stay two nights to rest. The hospitalero replied sharply that I shouldn't have been walking. She then told me I would be fine the next day after a rest. Not supportive. I don't recommend.

Camino de Sant…

Very clean and neat alburgue with excellent directions and organization. Laundry room in the back. Beautiful garden to relax in. I would stay here again. They have a small “shop” to buy vegetables and milk. But they are very strict. Only one day allowed. Cafe at the top of the hill is lovely. Good paella.

Camino de Sant…

Very nice auberge. Owners are nice, rooms are fine, bathroom is great and everything is very clean. Nice little garden and common room. 2 restaurants/bars within easy walking distance, the one on the top has a nice pilgrim dinner (€10). Would absolutely stay here again.

Camino de Sant…

Seems well liked, I enjoyed the patio area and yard. I slept on the wrong floor of where the men’s room is but can’t really complain, loved this. Small store in the lobby they even had stamps when I asked so that I could send some postcards.
