Als Pilger am Weg nach Santiago:
Man sagt ja, der Pilger dankt, der Touristik verlangt, aber...Ich möchte keine schlechte Bewertung dieses Hostel abgeben, aber nächtigen sie hier nur, wenn es sich nicht vermeiden lässt ! Dieses Hostel/Bar/Gasthaus ist im Jahr 1990 stehen geblieben. Zumindest der Preis hat gepasst. Einzelzimmer €15 Daily Menu €12 (ab 20:30)

Camino de Sant…

Having traveled most of my adult life and currently walking my 4th Camino I have NEVER felt so appalled/unwanted and repulsed.
I arrived and the place was all locked up, should have got the message at this point, when “Francesco” did finally turn up after 2 phone calls he was unpleasant and mumbled something about us being early and having to lock the front doors behind ourselves.
The bathrooms had pubic hair in every place. The bedroom was well like a prison cell. And the man that “served” us was the worst excuse for a host ever. Angry, Miserable, rude, and many more bad things. I “ate” my food kind of. Paid for the room and dinner and left, managed to find a ride to a local town and back the following morning from some kind locals.
This morning I woke with a sick stomach from the food.
It is the only time I have ever done this.
DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Quite honestly my worst ever hospitality experience.

Camino de Sant…

I stayed here while doing the VDLP Camino. It is good value for money. My €10 got me a small single room with a basin, clean warm bedding and a towel. The water was hot and the menu del dia ok.

Camino de Sant…

This place is a dungeon. Dirty, spiders and web in the shower. Looks like this hostel is not used very often.
Downstairs is the restaurant with drinking parties at night. Don’t hope for a good night sleep here. Avoid if possible.
