A big albergue just outside of the main square and the cathedral. Quiet place spacious courtyard, we were only two in our little bedroom without doors. Shower is good. You can cook in the kitchen or go to a local cafe just two minutes walk across the river. It was very clean and efficient check in process. Nice stay for 8€

For 8€, it worked, a bed and a shower. There were 34 bunks in the room (that's a total of 34 beds, not double that). The showers had hot water. There were only two toilet stalls, but it seemed to work. I only had to wait once. There were no meals, but I picked up some tapas and glass of wine at a local bar for less than 6€.
It was a bit stuffy in the room overnight, but I'd rather be warm than cold, so it worked for me.

Very clean. The check in was a little slow but it was organized. There was a nice sitting area outside while you waited. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not much space between the beds, about a foot and a half

Camino de Sant…

I stayed here in June 2015. It is run by the Flemish Association and they couldn't have be more welcoming. It's a simple place, but clean and does what it needs to. The local kids hang out the front of the Albergue at night and can sometimes be a bit cheeky/noisy, but I'd definitely stay here again.

Camino de Sant…

I have stayed here on 3 Camino’s and I love the beer vending machine in the kitchen. It’s nice to grab a beer and take a hot shower. Also a area to wash your clothes by hand and Calliger Hand Crank ‘squeegee’ for you Youngblood’s go ahead and google that so you know how to use it, it helps your laundry get the water out to dry quicker. Kitchen is small but has lots of pans and utensils. It’s satisfying. I like this place.

Camino de Sant…

Very basic municipal. About 30 people in one room, not many places to charge your phone. Some people had things stolen while we were here. Kitchen is good and lots of space to dry clothes in the sun.

Camino de Sant…

This is only my opinion and experience.
When I arrived at 2pm there were heaps of pilgrims sitting outside “waiting” to go inside. The couple running it were lovely people, but perhaps a little unorganised !!! They handed out papers if you saw them or you found them, which was very confusing and annoying - no orderly line, no numbers on slips. So waited for about an hour - for a simple check in process which is just paying and stamping your passport - should take about 3mins?? They were moving at a very slow pace - so after a hard long day walking it was very frustrating! That was the cons. PROS: it had s lovely pilgrim community vibe, a kitchen, a porch, place to hang clothes out in sun, a vending machine with cold beer and anything a pilgrim could need inside.
Kitchen closed at 9pm so if you went to mass you needed to cook before really.
Phone charging is outside dorm room and limited. One big room, but earplugs and mask and it’s all good!

Camino de Sant…

2 ladies showers for a large group of rooms. Minimal areas to charge my phone. Kitchen closed due to Covid.
