Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Something I didn't realise when I gave feedback last night is that this mornings breakfast is included in the 15 euro nightly rate.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Winter Camino, stopped last village Rabanal at the Municipal which was freezing....so left and walked further 3 miles uphill to this alberge after first ringing them. Man on the phone didn't understand my English but an English pilgrim who was checking in at that moment explained and the man in reception saved me a bunk 👍
Friendly when I arrived. Nice clean building lovely hot hot showers.
Nice views lovely sunset.
They have a log burner type fire in the dinning room which was fabulous, so much heat being given off it.
You are not permitted to eat your own food on their premises.
They did however produce a lovely 2 course meal with wine @ 10euros served at 7pm.
The fee currently for the bunk for the night is 15euros.
So glad I pushed on the extra 3.5 miles.

We made a reservation & called in the afternoon to confirm. We arrived at the expected time but the hostalier said they were full. They didn't honor our reservation. He was very surly and stated the whole town was full. We walked across the street & got a very nice room elsewhere.

Camino de Sant…

I have walked Frances Route three times and have a good overview of places to stay - "The Good", "The Bad" and "The 'Ugly'". This is up there with the very, very best. The facilities, location and views are fantastic. The hosts are a delightful couple. They produce a lovely evening meal.actually one of the best meals. A lovely fire too. If you stay here, you will not regret it.

Camino de Sant…

Nice place but been beaten up by bed bugs. Also it was too humid at night coz everyone closed the windows, so I had to wake up in the middle of the night and open the doors. Great view of the valley! Fox

Camino de Sant…

July 2019
Great view, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and beds. No outside food allowed, no kitchen available, bunks incredibly close together (barely shoulder width), and SO HOT in the night even with the (small) windows open. No one I know slept well because of the heat, even though it was chilly outside. Blanket rental is 1.50€. Overall it was fine for the night, but wouldn’t stay again because of the temperature.

Camino de Sant…

This is a clean and good place to stay! Showers and bathrooms are separate for male female. Dinner is required with the bed but worth it. Great view from the balcony. I would stay again. Keep the windows open and it should not be too hot.
