Was shocked to be only 1 of 4 people staying here on a night in early September., bargain for EUR10, clean and modern and has a lovely outdoor terrace space. More pilgrims would make for a better atmosphere!

Admittedly I arrived in the low season, but the rooms and the bathroom were very clean and everything worked great. Lockers up the stairs with keys provided, a washer and dryer down stairs, no soap required just €4 for wash and €3 for dry, cheaper than the lavenderia up the road and much more convenient. The host was lovely, but spoke no English so it took some mistakes on my part to understand the system of calling and then giving a password for entry. If you just rock up, there are three buttons, one for calling in the day, one the evening, and the bottom on weekends. Make sure to start with the correct one!

When you come in it looks modern. The keeper is nice and helpful. Everything looks good. But the washrooms are dirty like the wall tiles are not clean at all. For the price of eight euros I would go back.

Clean and fairly new; located up on a hill in a quiet street off the main road. Blankets cost extra: €1.5.

All the bunk beds are crammed into a single room with not a lot of space and fewer windows than what I prefer. Very attractive building

Didn't like the energy after waiting 20mns at 3.30pm for someone to open door - nice terrace though.went to local albergue

If you call and you don‘t get an answer, don’t give up. The way takes and gives. Solution here: just opposite of the Main Street there is the Canthino do Peregrino. They have a key and they are very helpful and charming.
