Elvira should not be working in hospitality; she was rude and controlling, wouldn’t give us our laundry from the dryer when we asked for it, wouldn’t turn on the heat (40°F outside), and reluctantly gave us blankets that she kept locked in a room. Hands down the worst albergue experience on the Camino for us. I wish we’d heeded other previous reviews!

I wished I looked around before settling for this albergue...the price is good, but not a lot to show for it with this albergue. Other Albergues in the area were only 12€, but with more on offer including heating.

It was cold when we arrived to this one and the heating was not on. The hostess did not turn on until just before bedtime, she offered blankets and at some point turned off the heating. Shoes are left outside in the cold. And one of the pilgrims turned on a light in the room above his head and she came, spoke only in her language and turned off the light...it was only around 6pm.

Arguably the worst albergue I have stayed in.
I got there late in the afternoon in late October freezing cold and wet as it rained all day. The old lady who ran the place refused to turn on the heating until around 8pm and then, only for a few hours on a set timer. I had a light on near my bed and she came over yelled at me in Spanish and flicked the light off.

It cost 11€ where for an extra 1€ I could have had much nicer accomodation in town with more facilities.

Cost is now 11 € but still neat and clean. Good, quiet place with a nice view.

Lovely owner/hostess Elvira, who told me the Albergue will stay open all year, including Christmas and New Year.

Lovely, large dormitory with loads of space and natural light and a great view of the surrounding hills and church. Well-designed, roomy showers with plenty of hooks and separate section to keep clothes, towel, shoes etc dry while you shower. Soap and paper towels provided, as well as blankets and disposable sheet and pillow case…and all for 10€! Amazing.

Stayed here 10 December (the only pilgrim) and was very content. The Albergue has full kitchen available for pilgrims (stove-top, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, mugs, glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery) as well as basic spices, sugar etc and a vending hot drinks machine. A couple of large tables with chairs in the dining room and sofas for relaxing; with outside tables & chairs also.

Camino de Sant…

This was a clean, well run Albergue outside of the regular peregrino realm. Nice people.

Camino de Sant…

This is a great place, comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
