We arrived at 12.30 guy inside said they don’t open till 1.00 went for a drink down the road, till after1pm.
check in was long we asked about a massage but she had no idea said she would get back to us, even though its advertised in the website.
Breakfast granola with yogurt, toast & jam & coffee 9€.
We spent 2 nights wish we hadn’t disappointed with small double room& even smaller bathroom the smallest ever. This was the one place I looked forward to so was very disappointed.
The Monks service at 7 in the Church is special as is the Pilgrims Blessing.

Maribel and Carles were wonderful hosts, so warm and welcoming. They later offered an opportunity for meditation, pranayama yoga, and sound bathing. This was a favorite stay on my Camino.

Kim is the most amazing host. We walked into her beautiful guest home to the smell of homemade banana bread, fresh cherries, and a warm and welcoming smile. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Book in advance, she is always booked.

We stayed with Kim at The Stone Boat September 25 and it was as peaceful and restorative as we remembered from four years ago. We walked the Frances in 2018 and The Stone Boat was our favorite stay. Because this was our second time to walk it, we’ve done a lot of comparing, and felt we weren’t feeling as connected or inspired as the first time. That changed with our stay at The Stone Boat. I felt like Kim’s gentle attitude and kind commitment to “her“ pilgrims reset my attitude, and at exactly the right moment…just before Cruz de Ferro. The rooms are truly cozy nests, we slept beautifully, and Kim made dinner reservations for all those staying in her place so we could feel better connected. We are so glad The Stone Boat is back!

It is early november and I have just woken up from a great sleep to enjoy a morning tea before sunrise. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I had the best experience staying at Kim’s place. Would highly recommend to anyone passing thru Rabanal!

Camino de Sant…

My daughter and I stayed at Stone Boat while on the Camino. Kim has created a welcoming place, full of charm and comfort after a long day of walking. After a restful nights sleep she served a delicious breakfast to get us off to good start for the tough day crossing over the mountain. Highly recommend the Stone Boat.
