We stayed here for just one night having some difficulties with my leg. We already made a reservation. We were welcomed warmly and offered a glass of cold water. Because I had to stay and rest my leg, we had a very nice room for the two of us. We had dinner and were offered a vegetarian meal. It was fine. So a great and quiet place to stay.

At €15 for a luxurious bed, and €10 for the pilgrim dinner, this albergue is a pleasant 'find' after following the coast out of Tapia. Unlike other commenter, the room was full of pilgrims. There seems to be an unusually high volume of pilgrims enjoying the freedom "after lock down."

This is simply put SEX when it comes to Albergue. It has bedding in the beds, biggest room is six there are a couple of double rooms and the photo on this website does not do it justice. I nearly walked past to continue or to the municipal however I was too knackered to do so. WoW. If your on the Norte then ensure you stay here.hot shower (slow start as the pipes are long) perfect fittings in all rooms. Gorgeous public areas. A restaurant, a bar, drinks on tap. Jesus is the owner. No pun intended. It’s fabulous and I shall be adding it to trip advisor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Shops are in town this is a farm community not far from the motorway but hardly any noise and certainly non indoors.

Camino de Sant…

Last night we stayed at the Albergue Camino Norte. Is was fantastic: clean room with good beds, good food and good wine. I will recommend this Albergue to everybody!!

Great value, great service, comfy beds I’m beautiful rooms. They lost one of my sock during the laundry (the black hole washing machine phenomenon I suppose) and gave me a new pair instead! Have not stayed in many albergues yet but this is a good one.

A great Albergue. The Norte must be empty because I was here by myself. This is the place to stay in Figueras. Great host, great food, great beds. Can’t say enough. Seems out of the way but it certainly isn’t.

Peaceful Albergue with lovely garden and farm/field surroundings. Very clean and spacious with nice beds, sheets and towels. Room to myself in the dormitory as all pilgrims must be in Ribadeo. Excellent value for €15! I walked into the village (15mins) to buy food in the small mercado and cooked supper in their kitchen. Very kind hosts. Would definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the nearby beaches and stay local rather than walk into Ribadeo. I spent the afternoon on the beach at Arnao - beautiful for swimming. Sep 2021.
