Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Wonderful town, awesome vibes albergue. Loved the patio overlooking the red roofs of town. Next to bridge. You can get a massage. East walk to explore restaurants. Definitely one of my favorite stays along trail.

This is a fantastic albergue and very close to the bridge you must cross in the morning. Super clean rooms and bed was so comfy. I wanted my pack transported to Estella because of the previous 2 transfers which the albergue staff had booked for me, I assumed the same here. 12km into my walk I thought I’d better check that my pack had been picked up. Alas it had not, but the owner was wonderful and told me she would take care of it, and sure enough it was waiting for me in Estella. Absolutely delighted with this. Well done to Albergue Estrella. You deserve 5* grading.

The ladies that run this place are some of the most interesting characters you'll meet on the whole Camino. Keep an open mind and ask them if you can pick a card from their "personality" deck. Great location if your looking for unique pictures of the bridge. And they'll even draw stars on your credencial! Also note, this may be a new location. Our guidebook from a couple of years ago had this albergue at the beginning of town and they're now located at the end of town.

Just a note - they do not offer dinner or breakfast, so the symbols are not accurate. Mostly standard fare with a new age coat of paint. I probably would have stayed at Jakue, cheaper & bigger rooms, had I known there weren’t meals.

Camino de Sant…

Sent here after finding Albergue puente was full. Hosteleria is lovely but the place leaves much to be desired. The rooms are small but there is only one bathroom between 8+ and only one sink (in the bathroom) so nowhere else to do laundry or fill water bottles. The place is shabby and not very clean. all for €15. No dinner. Not impressed.

Camino de Sant…

Great place. Natalia made me feel like family. On site masseuse. Take advantage of this little gem.

Camino de Sant…

Very welcoming. Two shared bathrooms. Lovely hosts with very new accommodations. They were more than gratuitous and helpful. I elected to take advantage of the message therapist and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Camino de Sant…

Definitely the find of the week so far. Very clean, good amenities and great hosts. Price is good and includes breakfast. Great job Natalia!

Camino de Sant…

Small hostel, 2 bunk beds and a single bed in this room, but only 1 other occupant. Adequate toilet and shower facilities. Washing machine and dryer on ground floor. Kitchen closed due to COVID situation. Natalia very friendly. A clean, quiet and pleasant albergue right close to the bridge.
