Camino de Sant… (not verified)

We could write a hundred words but that wouldn’t be enough. A great stay and great people. A little oasis. We can only echo all of the previous good reviews. Sean and Tracy.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

We stayed here in June 2022, and the ladies were absolutely lovely. A nice patio garden and bar with the Albergue attached. This Albergue had maybe one fly lazily buzzing around the room as opposed to the 10+ I’m now more used to. 10€ a bed and almost everyone had a bottom bunk, though some requested a top bunk. Nice cool stone floors in the room and a very clean bathroom. The bathroom is a bit small, but it’s not terrible. This was a much needed moment of peace on the Camino. Come by and say hello, and don’t miss the Vespers service at 7pm or the pilgrim Mass at 9pm down the road!

Its the camino for god sake. People are so fast to write a negative comment over the smallest things. I almost didn’t go here because of the comments. Glad I went with my gut! Place is totally Camino spirit. And remember if you go in with a big smile and your best bad Spanish nobody can be mad or rude to you. Had the best time here. Read between the lines in the comment sections! Some people are just negative 🤷🏼‍♀️

Camino de Sant…

The bunk beds are crammed in with bunk beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable arrangement

Camino de Sant…

No heat, big deal when it’s close to freezing, no Internet in the private room I’m in (not sure if other places have it), no lock on door in private room. A big maze of a mess. Extremely disappointing.

Camino de Sant…

I think that this albergue needs some renovation, as bescriped above these points were ok for in ‘70 but nowadays people want more en better accommodation The people are verry nice and helpfull

Camino de Sant…

The english staff was great, friendly, and very nice.
I was in a Public dormitory with about 30 beds, not bad. Nice garden, you can wash your clothes by hand and they have a machine that dries for free, but after that you have to hang out the loundry because they are not completely dry.
And dont forget the english tea time at 4 oclock! It is free and you can enjoy talking!
I would recommend this.

Camino de Sant…

It has a nice vibe. Beds are a bit cramped in and we got a bad choice by the door. Showers okay. There's a kitchen but only 2 gas rings to use. Nice coffee. It is what it is.

Camino de Sant…

Now bunkbeds cost 10 €. Only one shower, but nice garden.

Camino de Sant…

Albergue seems to be the side business and the main thing here is the bar where everyone from village comes in the evening. I was here on Saturday and it is very uncomfortable to hung your laundry right next to the people eating in the bar. I felt that I’m bothering them but the albergue doesn’t understand the problem. It is very noisy and every time you want to go out of albergue, you have to pass through the full bar. Also all the time it smells of food. The beds in the dormitory are cramped but at least because of Covid there are less people. Showers and bathroom are clean, hot water. Hospitalero was friendly and nice. It’s a pity that the huge bar kills the vibe.
