I stayed at this hostel during the Camino del Norte. if you are a pilgrim, choose another place to stay for the night. the room is not ventilated, few toilets and uncomfortable shower. in the morning you can get to the kitchen only from 8 am.

Booked ahead on Booking.com. Great place with comfortable beds and a wonderful common room. Friendly staff. Location is perfect.

Clean, new and a staff who is really helpful. Nice beds, with normal and usb plugs, reading light. Perfect located

At 20€ per night this place is the best private albergue to stay in Santander. It's cool and clean, with the owner going at extreme lengths to make guests follow all Covid and cleanliness rules. He also provides great tips and speaks English, which is not something you find very often. The place didn't offer breakfast at the moment of my stay (early June 2021) because there aren't a lot of pilgrims and it doesn't make financial sense for the owner to ensure it's available, but there's coffee and tea readily available and there's a fully stacked kitchen. The place is also very central with grocery shops, cafes and bakeries just minutes away.

Good location, great service and clean. Good breakfast as well. Felt ready to take on a day of rain.
Plenty of supermarkets next door and good kitchen with cooker! Bit cheaper if you book online first.

I recommend booking ahead as this is one you don’t want to miss. Great location, fully equipped kitchen, supermarket and fruit market just steps away. Very welcoming host and a large comfortable lounge where we spent a lot of time in the evening
