This town is less busy than when I stayed here ten years ago. There are many buildings but few people. However, I found nothing but kindness. Hostal Suetxe is clean and comfortable. Good mattress! Many place don’t have enough blankets, but I was perfectly warm. I actually had nicer towels here than the fancier hotel that I stayed in in Pamplona! Roomy shower and bathroom. Very good showerhead! Nice hosts! I recommend! Sometimes you just need a private room!

Camino de Sant…

Los Arcos is really not as nice and it has a weird energy. I did not like the village nor the Hostal. Everyone is different of course, so no prejudice although Ive heard same opinion from others. I had a single room for EUR 38.- way overrated for what it was. The bed was SO uncomfortable, I felt like dipping in the matress in the center and Im tiny (meaning Im not heavy). Shower head very old and just no good. Towels felt weird on the skin, but still happy there were towels of course. Wifi did not work in the upper floors, they said they know and are waiting to fix it. Good thing is that you can hang clothes right in front of your window :) hosts were nice and helpful though, but I still would not recommend it. All in all I would recommend to not stay in Los Arcos if you can make it. But its a long way to the next nice village.
