Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Very rude, they do not actually seem to like pilgrims. At. All. Pilgrims are simply money with legs. Wouldn’t recommend in the slightest.

This place is clean, functional, the hosts were nice to us, dinner is a standard pilgrims menu. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here, but it was a totally fine stop. I’m surprised by the bad reviews.

We were treated very well here and enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was very clean, and hosts were good to us all.

A large shower/toilet - separate for men and women. Plenty of room to move and hooks to hang things. A very generous 6 minute shower per person.

Only 4 of us in the 12 bunk dorm last night.

I would add to the comments by other pilgrims - this place is awful. The owners are rude and unpleasant and the whole place has a very odd atmosphere.
Also they won't let customers use the toilets but send them out to a stinking tin shack outside.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here after a long and rainy day. The woman who runs the place is very nice, but the owner is rude and obnoxious. The place is freezing and when asking to have the heating turned on (fire or radiators) we were first told it would be turned on at 6pm, then at 6.20pm we asked again and got shouted at by the owner. Not very pleasant. Avoid at all costs if possible.

Camino de Sant…

September 2021 Stopped here for breakfast enroute to Palas del Rei - DON'T. Owner is rude, wouldn't allow those not resident in the Albergue to use the inside toilets but directed us to a green metal container in a field where the dirtiest, smelliest toilet was located. The food was average and overpriced. Stop for breakfast in Gonzar or carry on to the next village.
