Absolutely the best, most personable hosts. Created a wholesome, family-like atmosphere with us guests. Difficult to leave such a lovely place. Stay here if you want a full heart (and tummy- the food was great!)

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Verry nice place whit good people. The food was verry good.
I start in Irun, this is the best place i have been in during my camino!!!!

Camino de Sant…

The host, Alejandro, was thoughtful in the way he treated us and in the way he has set up the Albergue. Lamps at each bunk, charging station for phones, nice sheets and comforters, and most of all CLEAN. Very clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. And a living room like area on the lower floor giving out onto a paved garden with table and chairs. My favorite place so far (except the expensive hotel in Castro-Uridales)

Camino de Sant…

Emailed a night ahead for a reservation. Quick response. Clean but simple. Two bathrooms/showers with hot water. Had dinner and breakfast for donation. Dinner: lentils and salad, breakfast: toast, butter and coffee w milk. Hostelaro, Santiago was very friendly and runs the hostel well.
Bar/restaurant a few doors down, but a little pricy, pilgrim menu 16 euros

Camino de Sant…

Santiago, the hospitalero, is extremely kind and generous. He opened his albergue for me to take a rest day after catching the stomach flu, and kept making sure I was okay and offering me tea. He fed us a beautiful meal for dinner, and a quick breakfast before the pilgrims left. I HIGHLY suggest staying here if given the chance.

Camino de Sant…

An albergue with a very special atmosphere you shouldn’t miss <3 Very warm and welcoming hospitalero Santiago made us feel at home and cooked a delicious dinner for us in the evening.
This is what peregrinacion is all about. Recommend this place with all my heart. /Lovisa, Sweden

Camino de Sant…

He offers dinner at night at 8pm and breakfast at 6:30am. 20 beds. Clean and comfortable. He speaks little English but is friendly. Plenty of lines to hang clothes but (as usual) not enough clothes pins (which is why I brought safety pins on the Camino. A life saver). Plenty of lounge chairs for hanging out on the patio in back.

Camino de Sant…

Under new ownership I think, run by a woman called Guilia who is a real gem. This is one of the best donativos in the del norte, although it was fully booked so good to plan in advance. Guilia believed in the spirit of the Camino and provides a great home cooked dinner and breakfast. She even washed and dried our laundry for free which was much appreciated! Good bar a few minutes down the street.

Camino de Sant…

Opens at 15.00.
Book ahead. Open October 2021
