I am a solo traveler but wanted something private in finisterre so asked if there were any single or double rooms available. She said only double for 37€ person night. So I took it.

The double room I was in had a 135cm bed with around 50cm spiele surrounding the bed. For one person that is completely fine, for 2 probably not. So either I was sold a single room for a double room price or the double rooms are indeed very very cozy. Nevertheless I cannot complain for 37€ with a private bathroom in August.

Everything was clean and well maintained. The hotel is around 50m from the Albergue just up the street. So it was very private what I liked. The host was very nice and helpful

Great host. Nice and clean. And reel proper sheets is a winner.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Less than an hour after my last comment I discovered a young woman in the kitchen washing dishes after eating a meal she had prepared.
All I had wanted was a dish to heat pasta in the microwave for two minutes.
Plenty of dishes, pots and other kitchen equipment.
To say I am pissed off is an understatement.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I saw a German pilgrim sit down to a hearty meal that he cooked in the albergue kitchen.
Later in the day I wanted to boil some pasta but was not allowed to use the kitchen facilities.
There is a well equipped fully functioning kitchen locked away behind sliding doors.
If the facility is available to chosen ones it should be available to all.

Camino de Sant…

Nice albergue, very clean and with lockers, lights at every bed and Individual sockets. But the best was the hospitalero, one of the friendliest since Sevilla going out of his way to provide Info, help and make me feel very welcome. Would stay here again

Camino de Sant…

October 2021, €12: I thought this was a lovely Albergue. Small, traditional, real sheets and blankets, lockers for bags. Very friendly hosts who did a very thorough cleaning job in the morning. Only negative is only 3 showers, but didn’t cause a problem for me.
Also great location for a beautiful beach/cove which I swam from on arrival, with just a few locals on. Also this is one of the Albergues closest to the end of town, so shortest walk to get to the lighthouse for sunset. I was happy to stay here and would recommend.
