Camino de Sant…

This is an excellent starting point for the Ingles: as with all Paradors, the rooms are very comfortable and come with not only the usual soap and towels but shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc — particularly welcoming if you have had to deal with Ryanair en route. The staff could not be nicer, too. Ferrol itself if much more interesting that most guidebooks state: it has a fascinating mix of architecture including some wonderful Art Deco buildings and a bewildering selection of bar-cafes all with good and very affordable food. We ended up in La Canita at random and it was great. The only downside was all the churches (including the Concathedral)were closed.
