Camino de Sant…

Great clean albergue. The keys are available from various bars in town but I cannot recommend enough using Rincón de Julia. She made the effort to go to the albergue to receive us, she makes the most amazing food in her bar and opens at 6:30 for breakfast. Spacious albergue room with 12 bunks

Camino de Sant…

The beds are very close to each other, but its ok. Not so nice toilets, close to the beds. But kitchen area Fresh, and possibility to clean clothes in machine. And very cheep.

Camino de Sant…

If someone informed me - I would pay 25 € or even more in the albergue at the entrance to town.
If you stay in the albergue, you will get no sleep. There is a bell tower just next door and it will keep waking you up every hour. It is really LOUD.
Also the square and a restaurant downstairs is full with people at night.
Bed bugs alert!
No rest before a massive tough stretch.

Camino de Sant…

I don’t agree to negative comments further up, this is quite a decent albergue, and very clean. It’s not more cramped than any albergues on the Francés, I’ve seen so much worse! It has a large kitchen and free washer/dryer with free soap too… for 6€! The bell tower doesn’t ring from midnight to 7, and for the bar, not so bad. In any case, with earplugs you’ll sleep very well!

Camino de Sant…

The good: €6 with free washing machine and dryer! Very friendly person in the tourist information across the road to let you in. Nice town. Clean albergue with kitchen and dining area.
The less good: The bell tower is loud. When we stayed it chimed twice on the hour (ie at midnight the bell chimed 12 times then after a minute chimed again 12 times). It does, however, stop at midnight until 7am the following morning. The bar outside was also noisy. If you are a light sleeper you won’t get to sleep before midnight. I was ok with that.
The toilets are, indeed, very close to beds. Not great, but, again, not a huge problem for me.

Camino de Sant…

The Albergue is situated in the centre opposite a bar. The beds are old and squeaky but the strangest thing is that individual shower and toilet cubicles open directly into the bedrooms so water leaks out of the showers onto the bedroom floors and you really don’t want to get the bunk in front of the toilets. It’s only €6 and the other Albergue is €24.
