I stayed in a 3 bed private room by myself for 120€ where I got violently ill. I was desperate for sleep and got very little due to illness. WiFi was ok. The TV worked. Constant loud music played by the owner who was an angry little man. The beds were uncomfortable but the room was fairly clean. The rest of the staff were kind. I found the layout to be extremely annoying with going down and then up stairs to get in and out of the room. I did not eat the meal. I had a drink from the bar while I washed my clothes which I wasn’t charged for, drying was only on the line. In the morning I asked for help with staying a little bit longer in order to take a taxi to get to my hotel reservation in Logroño but they said I could only sit in the courtyard. I asked for help finding electrolytes or if they had table salt even and the two men took the attitude that it was not there problem and offered no solutions other than calling me a taxi. I paid 40€ for a taxi and my hotel let me check in early. Being sick was awful as a solo pilgrim in a foreign country where you don’t really speak the language. The staff weren’t rude but they absolutely did not help other than calling me a taxi, which I was grateful for. Honestly I would never stay in Torres again, it’s too small and has a terrible vibe.

When a Pilgrim arrived late and the owner of this albergue knew that there weren’t any beds in town, he tried to charge €130 for the bed. The Pilgrim ended up paying €90.
Absolutely shameful exploitation of a tired Pilgrim.
Meal and Albergue were pretty awful.
The other two albergues in town are better and have good meals.
Sadly Pilgrims needed to be warned about this albergue.

Cold and there's one toilet and shower for 16 people. The dinner should be skipped. They charge 15 € for pasta with jarred sauce (not even hot), iceberg lettuce, and supermarket tiramisu, worth a couple € at best. 15€ for a bed and blanket, but 1€ more for a sheet. Just feeling ripped off which is rare on the Camino

Unfriendly. Not clean. Did not have my reservation on hand. Rude. Spent all my time at A. Mariella. All other Alb. Have access to a community pool at the town restaurant /bar.

(not verified)

Unfortunately, being greeted by an unfriendly host is often the sign of a less than adequate albergue. This was the case here. The host seemed annoyed with each guest and having to answer any queries they had. Wifi was not available in the rooms or terrace, only in the small lobby which, based on the hosts attitude, wasn’t where you wanted to be. Laundry was the most expensive I’ve come across - €10. The dorms were excessively cramped - far too many bunk beds in the space. No plug points near the beds nor light switches - the room remained dark most of the time. Bathrooms weren’t great. Nowhere to put your things when unchanging and so if you can’t hang them all on the door handle, they just get wet on the gross shower floor. Dinner was completely overpriced and bland. I was really happy to be out of there in the morning.

Camino de Sant…

Despite a wide variety of foods depicted on the menu they only offer 2 options. Despite saying they have wifi , they will not help you put it one, and there is no signal ( possibly a sign there is none) water is Luke warm - best keep walking

Camino de Sant…

I do not recommend. Stayed here during the Camino, did not provide us with any information or help us. They also charged us €2 extra than advertised and wouldn’t explain why. The staff are the rudest people I have ever met, I couldn’t believe it as every other place has been so friendly.

Camino de Sant…

I didn’t not spend the night here but wish I did. We stopped in before 11am and the owner made us hot sandwiches to go. The bathroom was clean and tidy. They could accommodate a wedding party, reunion, etc. Beautiful property and really nice people!

Camino de Sant…

Stayed in a crowded dorm room, 8 people and no space to move between bunks. Set of outlets at the door is good, better would be outlets in several places. WiFi was bad, unless you were in the lobby or courtyard. Disorganized, staff didn’t relay the fact that 3 guests had requested vegetarian meals to the chef, who had to quickly prepare something on the fly. Others were done with dinner before the vegetarians were served. Shower rooms were the dirtiest I’ve yet encountered, and locks on the showers were inadequate.
