This lovely albergue is only 500m off the camino and worth every step. The views over the reservoir from the terrace are stunning and the whole atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. They do good food and I can’t think of a nicer place to drink a glass of red wine while watching the sun go down over the water.

I write while sipping a cold beer off the infinity porch. The hospitalero did mention a few days when they did run out of water and had to close but they have been struggling to ensure pilgrims that these construction related issues have been resolved and they are open for uninterrupted business. I wished I had planned to spend the night here because this place needs the support and recognition to keep it running for the sake of passing pilgrims. Buen camino.
