Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The staff was nice, the rooms where very clean and divided by men and women. I personally liked that as a woman traveling alone.
The breakfast was baguette or other bread, butter, jams, honey, cereal, orange juice and there was a coffee machine.
I already met other pilgrims at breakfast but there might be better places to connect
The showers where nice.
It was really close to the cathedral so you don’t have to get up so early before the mass, that was nice. Very central.

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed here for two night before setting off for the Le Puy route, in what we hope will be the destination of Santiago ( and Finesterre and Muxia). This is our second time on this route, the first we almost exclusively camped… so that might be important to note when you weigh my opinion. This location is not far from the cathedral and almost a little oasis from the hub bub of town. Which we enjoyed. The kitchen was closed due to Covid protocols, but we had an appropriate room. No bells and whistles but I’d stay here again in a heart beat! It met all our needs. Showers decent, metal bunk beds, room to ourselves based on their set way of doing business during Covid.
