The dormitory is a room with only three single beds, so if you can get yourself into one there won't be too many people snoring you awake all night long. The Casa is now under the helm of an American pilgrim named Ashley and the feedback in the first month are positive. Reserve dinner when making your reservation, preferably two days in advance.
These distances are exact, but are based on a straight line from point to point. Actual walking distances will be slightly longer.
We almost missed out on this lovely place because it says it opens in May. Glad we emailed her anyway! We had a great stay in a comfortable room with a delicious dinner and breakfast. Our host picked us up at the train station in Sarria for a small fee and we began our Camino the next morning at the Monastery in Samos. Casa Licerio is a great place to begin. The path from Samos to Sarria was gorgeous. Highly recommended.
This place is awesome!!!!! The woman running it went out of her way to help me out and was so comfortable and welcoming. One of my best on the trail.
This was a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were so well taken care of. Ashley is an amazing hospitalero who provided us with so much care and advice. The rooms were spotless and the beds so comfortable. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
