Poco dopo il villaggio, a soltanto 50m dal cammino, sulla sinistra, ci sono i resti del castro (insediamento fortificato) dell’età del ferro che dà al paese il suo nome. Raramente viene visitato (non ci sono indicazioni), ma vale davvero la pena esplorarlo. Si trova prima del punto in cui il cammino rincontra la strada principale.

Il cammino: 

Shortly beyond the village, a mere 50m off the camino to your left, are the remains of the Iron Age castro that gives the town its name. It is seldom visited (there are no signs) but is worth an exploration. It can be found before the point where you meet the main road.

The albergue as you enter the town has food. Nowhere else does . Stop there if you’re hungry

Casa pedrigueira is the above mentioned pension we stayed in. I think it might be newish.
