I would recommend staying somewhere else if you can, but I liked my bed and that is important. But I think it would have been worth splurging on a hotel for me given the nicer hostel was full.
Other pros:
-kind front desk staff
-restaurant choices- I loved my dinner
-lights and power in the bunks

Cons:
-everything except the beds seem super worn out, neglected, and dilapidated. I felt annoyed, thinking that with a moderate amount of effort could be better. It also reminds me of feeling depressed since I associate neglect of physical spaces with depression.
-for example, they are using the main common space as storage for unused beds, cordoned off by caution tape
-the floors were visibly dirty. The kitchen looks like it was once lovely, I used it and a very big bug was crawling around the sink.
-people were not using the indoor common space, presumably bc it was too depressing.
-signs to keep backpacks off beds include pictures of bed bugs
-rusted keys and locks
-the day I went the fridge was broken.

Not the most modern, but everything in working order. Clean, great front desk stuff (helpful, courteous, speaks excellent English). We had a great view at the ocean. We ate at the bar in town. Was pretty good and reasonal priced. Limited food options. There is no grocery store, but there is a limited sortiment at the gas station.

Camino de Sant… (non vérifié)

Not too many choices in town. Beds are reasonably priced, and are large and comfortable. Very sturdy, no squeaking. Showers were nice and clean. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies in this albergue as well as ants. We checked in at 1:00, and had to wait for the rooms to be "ready" until 2:00 p.m. we were told that floors were drying. From 1 to 2:00 p.m. the cleaning lady was standing around talking in a very loud voice. Later I had discovered that the ants have gotten in my pack, and I killed over a dozen ants after shaking out my pack and its contents.
