Wise Pilgrim APPCastrillo has been declared a Historic-Artistic site and the restored village is off limits to non-resident vehicles. The main street has a cross at the beginning and at the end of town, and is lined with large houses. The village dates back to the 16th century, and is a replacement for the old town of Castrillo that was destroyed by a flood.
