Sad to write this but it may be helpful for some. We reserved a private room in this albergue and were in touch with them all the time saying that we could be 10-15 mins later. That day we had some problems with navigation and got later to the town. The hosts said they won’t wait for us and they need to sleep. It was just 15-20 mins for us to get there and for them to wait, but they didn’t care and were okay that two girls have no place to sleep. Very unpleasant attitude that we didn’t expect. Finally we are happy we didn’t stay at this albergue, not matter how beautiful the interior can be but if the hosts don’t care and speak not nicely, we don’t want it. Thankfully another hotel in town welcomed us so warmly and suggested much more for the better price.

Cette albergue est une véritable perle, autant par l’accueil de Liz, le modernisme des installations, l’étendue & la qualité des prestations offertes, ainsi que sa taille intimiste.

Comme lu de par ailleurs, je ne vois pas ce qui pourrait vous manquer.

De surcroît, le tarif demandé m’a semblé fort raisonnable.

One of the best albergues on the Del Norte route, located outside Novellana, the hosts are very kind and helpful folks who keep the Camino spirit alive, they provided a lovely dinner and simple breakfast offering, couldn't fault this at all, lovely and clean, a truly great offering. Gratitude

Good dinner for 8€, beer 1 €, bottle of wine for 5€. Good breakfast . What is not offered you do not need. A place to go.

Camino de Sant…

This is a must stop Albergue. Simon and Luz pull out all the stops at this restored and refurbished train station (pun intended). The room is quiet and well sized. The showers and bathrooms are new. The shower is hot. Everything is clean. They serve a great pilgrim meal. Simon knows the Camino well and can give great advice. Simon is originally from London so communication was no problem for the English speakers. And, since it sits on the renfe line, catching a bump down the way is super easy if you need to make up time.

Everything and everyone is perfect. I cannot say a word to suggest improvement. I loved this place people and hospitality. Comfortable clean good food. Better than at home. .deserves a 20/10
