Our host, Jose, was so kind and thoughtful. The albergue is spotlessly clean and very good facilities. Jose makes a sumptuous soup plus his homemade bread is a real treat. In the morning, our shoes were put out for us, together with a mat to sit on and a shoe horn. It is so very central. Highly recommend it.

The location is wonderful and good beds and so on, but the person managing it has a somewhat controlling demeanor that dampens the overall atmosphere.

Centrally-located, a clean, well-run albergue. Small rooms make a difference, even though beds are standard bunks; still, lots of room and great lockers. Close to good restaurants and supermercado. Attentive host whose laundry “rules” were not a problem at all—he treated us well!

Jose is an incredible host and this is so clean and very accommodating to pilgrims. Close to River for a nice swim. Jose has gone above and beyond to help with my injury. He organized a fantastic massage and loves to share the sights of this beautiful town. My fav stop on Camino. Take a couple of days to rest and enjoy and recover.

It’s hard to use the laundry machine. You need the hospitalero to turn on the machine but he is hard to find. If you hand wash, you only have one sink in the bathroom. Also, there is hardly anywhere to dry your clothes. As a woman, the host does not seem creepy or controlling.

Hose the host is very nice. I am a solo woman on the way and came very worried 20 min after check in was finished. Host had called me earlier to check if I am ok then waited for me to arrive and had a kind word to calm me. He was very kind and hospitable, took my bag for me while climbing the stairs. As a solo women I felt totaly safe and no inapropriare behavior.

The host is a control freak. He has security cameras in common area, he mops women’s bathroom when a woman was in shower, and came into women’s room at 9:25pm with flashlight which is unacceptable.

Attention to detail, Jose is very kind and thinks of everything. The rooms are modern with high, comfortable bunk beds, each with charger and shelf with light. Great showers, washing machine, kitchen, fridge, coffee machine. He even has rollers for sore muscles. In the morning he had our shoes placed on the steps with a bum cushion, a shoe-horn and card! He is also the baker, so in the morning he's open downstairs for fresh bakes.

This Albergue is closed to the river and after a difficult walk from Rabanal del Camino it was just I wanted. There is enough space between the bunk beds, we stay only three women in the room and the hospitalero was kind enough to help us with laundry. Also, the next morning when we left he provided us with pillows on the stairs to put on out shoes and a nice card with Molinaseca, Highly recommend Albergue Senot Oso!
