This was a lively and fun albergue filled with youths when I last stayed 7 years ago. Now it’s kind of dreary, smells like insecticide in the dorms, mattresses tired with springs in the back....could use an overhaul and more enthusiastic hospitaleros.
Place must have changed ownership.

This place looks like it is falling apart at its seams. Some may consider it charming but I did not care for it. The bathroom and toilets are downstairs. Most of the rooms are upstairs. They seem to be reconstructing the back area into a nice hangout spot but the whole place needs serious repair and a good paint job.

We stayed here last August a group of 17, we stayed in a dormitory room, there was a white powdery substance on the floor and shelving in the room, they must have had an insect problem although we saw none,
There is a lovely square not far from the hostel where you can find a few nice restaurants, food & beer to be had, also a place where pilgrims gather in the evening.
This is a lovely village
We were there in August 2018
