To Santiago: 

Conímbriga is not a town as much as it was a town; in fact, it was quite important to the Romans whose footprint still exists here.

Allow for some time to explore the museum, the only option for food or drink is in the visitor center.

The Road: 

Folgen Sie der Straße, welche die Ausgrabungsstätte verlässt. Biegen Sie an der ersten Kreuzung rechts ab und gehen Sie geradeaus in Richtung und unter der Autobahn durch.

Nachdem Sie die Autobahn hinter sich gelassen haben, kommen Sie an einer Reihe von Weilern vorbei (Valada, Atadoa, Orelhudo, Ribeira de Casconha und Casconha), bevor Sie über die Schnellstraße zurückkehren und in Cernache ankommen. Auf dem Weg hat nur Casconha eine Bar.

Stop there for imaging antique place, roman houses, etc. For pilgrims cost 2, 50 and you can leave your backpack on reception. Also there cheap café . Nata, beer and big sandwich for 3, 50.
