This Albergue is super friendly, accommodating, and helpful! The owner went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. The advantage of stopping before the end of the “stage“ is that you don’t have to deal with crowds. There were only two of us in the shared dorm when I was there. It’s also a beautiful space!

If you’re looking for someplace cosy and quiet to stay before Estella, do yourself a favour and check out this wonderful Albergué! Owners Miren and Jordi have lovingly renovated their beautiful house and the result is stunning. In fact, Miren refinished all the wooden doors and furniture, giving the albergue a creative, stylish vibe.

On top of all that, Miren was super helpful, providing me an extra blanket, a basin to handwash my clothes, and a drying rack! The shower was also the best I’ve had on the Camino!

And because Villatuerta is off-stage, It means you are not sharing the small dorm with very many people!

Only 3 of us were in the albergue last night. Our hostess was friendly and extremely helpful. The room and bathrooms were very clean, and the showers were hot and had good water pressure. Comfortable beds and sufficient charging locations for everyone. Breakfast is included and was a great start to today. The hospitalera also gave a great recommendation about the next stage. Definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.

We had such a lovely, relaxing stay here on 16 October. We were the only people staying and had a gorgeous room, like being in a boutique B & B. Beautiful linen and very comfortable double bed. Jordi was so friendly and kind. He gave us great advice to take the original route through the forest the next day. A very good tip. Jordi made breakfast for us. We could happily have stayed here longer. Charlotte and Rob (NZ).

We stayed here and it is one of the nicest stays on the Camino for us so far. We pulled in and arranged for laundry to be done, washer & dryer ( 8 Euro total). Jordi gave us directions to super mercado for wine and snacks, which we enjoyed in the lovely common room. The town's one restaurant is just a short walk. Beds comfy. Showers and bathrooms spotless. In the morning a nice breakfast before setting off.

Jordi gave us an overview of the alternative Camino up into the hills by the Monastery ruins. Took his advice, it was a nice woods walk with rolling hills!

Two thumbs up!

Our private room with shared bath was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The owner, Jordi, goes out of his way to make everyone feel at home. When my friend discovered she had left a few things at our albergue the previous night, Jordi called our previous host for us and made arrangements for the items to be brought to our accommodations for the following night. So helpful!

It was not fully booked and we where all allowed to sleep in our own bunkbed! The had cotton sheets! The host made breakfast in the evening so we could eat it early in the morning. He also gave tips for restaurants and a supermarket.
