15 euros if you walk in and don’t book through booking.com. We didn’t have a reservation which wasn’t a problem because only 4 other people were there. The rooms themselves are standard but great dining atmosphere. Most of the staff speaks English and the beers are in-house and 3.50 euros and they have really good pizza and burgers ranging from 18-22 euros but the portions are worth the price.

Camino de Sant…

Very friendly and helpful host (Kelly). We weren’t staying at this Albergue but at hotel nearby, it was after 8pm and no restaurant is available any more. While walking past Villahormes Albergue, we met Kelly and she offered to cook us some dinner. It was amazing.

I took the alternative coastal route. It was absolutely beautiful with many dramatic views of the sea and unique rock formations, however it added about 7km distance and took several hours longer since it's a more rugged, zig-zaggier path. I didn't see another person for 3 hours and there was no way to exit the path so make sure you are stocked on water and committed to finish!

Camino de Sant…

Not amazing, not terrible. Just OK. 15€ per night (or 20€ through booking.com) + 2€ for sheets + 3€ for a blanket. They have a restaurant but it’s very expensive - London Prices! Also a well-stocked bar but no bargains to be found here… they have a captive audience! No kitchen to use and no breakfast option for pilgrims from what I could tell. No shops for a while in both directions. Plan what you want to do for dinner and breakfast before you set off. Host and his family were friendly.

Camino de Sant…

A great, helpful host. Good, clean room and good food.
