Camino de Sant… (not verified)

As far as albergues go, this is what every pilgrim dreams about. It’s charming and every detail conveys care and thoughtfulness. Andres and Izabella are lovely hosts. The home cooked meal for dinner was a real treat after a long day. And their breakfast was the most generous we’ve come across yet. Their garden is a haven. The rooms are spacious and not crowded with beds. Stay here if you can!

Great Albergue. Welcoming, clean, good showers, easy washing & drying of clothes. Dinner was delicious. Bonus of a lovely garden to relax in. Everything you could want for is here. Highly recommend.

This albergue is the best on the Camino. Its quiet, extremely clean, comfortable, just like home, friendly, a great price, and the hosts are beyond amazing. Such a welcoming space and great hospitality and food, man the food was delicious. I would stay here a million times & highly recommend relaxing in the courtyard & enjoying drinks and great company.

I don’t want to leave this amazing Albergue.
Who would have thought heaven was in Castildelgado? Andres & Isabel have turned a 100 year old home into heaven in the Camino.
Take a break and enjoy the garden and back yard. Revitalize before Burgos and the Meseta.
Pilgrims miss this slice at tranquility. The food is muy delicioso!
Don’t miss this stop.

Camino de Sant…

This was a nice quiet place to stay that serves dinner. I had a private room with a bath I. The hall (girls only). They had nice solid bunks in the bunk room. Nice couple.

Camino de Sant…

I don’t have the words to describe the gratitude I have for the owners of this albergue. I, like many, caught bedbugs and when I arrived I told them right away. They gave me a bin to put all of my non washable things in, took my laundry and refused to let me wash the clothes myself, and they have a washer and dryer. The woman even gave me a long dress to wear while she washed all of my things! I am so overwhelmed with the generosity of this family. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. God bless this place!

Camino de Sant…

This truly the best Albergue I have stayed in the 11 days since the start. Quality of rooms the building the service it’s a small hotel brilliant. I can only say to those following if you need to walk a little further or cut your walk short it is worth it.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here so we could stay off stage. It was lovely. Gorgeous yard, very clean, and different room options. The bunk beds were comfortable and very quiet.
The meal was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Camino de Sant…

This place is great. Super comfortable, dinner was fantastic, the outdoor space looked like something from HNG magazine. Gracious lovely couple for hosts.
