We were planning to go further but ended up staying here because of rain. We were wet and muddy but they welcomed us. Nice rooms for two people. Had the tour and a good dinner. Simple but large quantity of food. Different experience and very worthwhile. Price is a donation. I hope they can keep it in operation for a long time.

The albergue in the monastery is open. There is building work underway on the second floor and elsewhere, so the accommodation has been moved to the top floor. No 2-person rooms at present.

Staying here on 16 November 2022 and previously stayed in February 2019. No cooking facilities but a fridge and coffee machine. Accommodation in rooms for two people with bunk beds. K

Camino de Sant…

If you are looking for a true pilgrim experience then look no further. This albergue is run by the amigos del camiño in the grounds of a friary. The friars dedicate themselves to looking after the sick and elderly in the most wonderful environment I have ever seen. Gentle caring friars who are hands on in the nursing of some very ill and frail people. The albergue has 6 rooms each with 2 single bunks. Mass is on site at 19:15 a a simple pilgrims supper at 20:00. It’s immaculately clean and i challenge anyone who visits the nursing home on site not to shed a tear. Thank you especially to brother Carlos.

Camino de Sant…

The dormitory has 44 beds in addition to those 12 in the small rooms.

Camino de Sant…

Lovely welcome. A (not so comfy) bed for the night in a pretty crowded dorm. But showers hot and dinner basic but filling. As noted previously ‘a true pilgrim experience’ which I have not really experienced so far on this camino. (Much more like many of the hostels on the camino francés).

Camino de Sant…

Albergue is closed. Don’t rely on it when planning your trip.

Camino de Sant…

Brilliant place, genuine, caring, clean and comfortable - lovely people who run the place - It's a donation based place so remember to leave something that reflects their good will and generously. H.J.Appleby
