We were told it closed because of Covid and didn't re-open.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

On 2022 july 3rd I ring the bell a lot and called at the phone many times. No answer. Is it closed?

Camino de Sant…

Very basic and could use a good scrub. No kitchen. The hospitilera in Serdió saw from my credential I had stayed there and commented on how dirty it was. She insisted I leave my pack outside the dorm. Lol.
If the door isn’t open, go get the key from the office across the parking lot. It was donativo when I was there March 7th. MANY cats outside.

Camino de Sant…

I call it “a gorgonzola albergue” because it has its walls literally covered with different types of mold. It looks like WW1 field lazarette, cold and humidity everywhere. Beds really shaky, showers not worthy of risking without flipflops. It’s donativo, but the porter still frowned upon our 5 euros for each. No wifi, no kitchen - you wouldn’t cook there eather way, trust me.

Camino de Sant…

Echo all the sentiments above. The monk/hospitalero was so unhelpful and uncaring - a fellow pilgrim had a fever and was unwell, when we (finally) managed to get hold of him to open the place (20 minutes after the advertised time with him reeking of alcohol) we asked him if there were any blankets for her. He said there was ONE inside (!) And that was it. No help where to possibly get more, what to do, no semblance of care at all. So much for a caring man of God! The whole place was mould ridden inclusive of the mattresses pillows and walls. So many better places to stay, don’t do it to yourself!

Camino de Sant…

This was the worst experience of the Camino. We were let in late after ringing nonstop The monk was drunk. He took our money but refused to give us the key. At last we got it and went to the dorm. The beds were dreadful. Full of mould and no covering or blankets. We were worried about sleeping on them. We left very early. Do not stay here, it is dreadful!
