The albergue is located 500m off of the camino on your right after leaving Ventosa.
The Albergue is closed, so their website says
Took a private room. Room was beatiful and hosts were wonderful and very helpful.
I stayed there in October of 2017. The hosts were rude and actually yelled at another pilgrim when the bedroom door accidentally slammed because of the air drafts in the house. I was told they would fix a vegetarian meal and when it was served, the host “joked” that they rubbed my plate with pork.
Disappointing. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but the reception was rather cold. There is WiFi available in public areas only and the only public area is outside on the back porch. Dinner was tasty, but no choices - whatever the cook is making that day is what you eat - at 12 euro per person also comparatively expensive. Innkeeper told us after dinner that breakfast was not available in the morning. Not even coffee. Said there were 2 bars within a couple of kilometers that would be open for breakfast. They were there but did not open until afternoon. Just a heads up. If we had it to do again, we would definitely walk on.
