I am thankful, that I was lucky enough to enjoy a night in the care of Ria & Ton in their last season at the Albergue. I wish them all the best in their new life, and hope that the new owners will keep the spirit of this wonderful place.

Albergue offered comfortable bunk beds, clean bathrooms, a great vegetarian dinner and breakfast. Friendly hosts. Suitable for campers and dogs too.

The albergue has new owner since mid-August 2018, a cute couple from Amsterdam. They run the place with full heart, you can touch their love. The rooms are clean, very nice bathroom. They offer joint dinner and the food was “Michelin star” quality. They also offer breakfast and have a bar. This is a real pilgrim albergue with all the positive feelings, I feel home in this place. The owner, Ria and the husband, Ton are really great hosts. Must stop there. Their correct phone number is: 676 582840

The albergue is up a small hill past the Ponte De Ferreira. I had a really warm welcome from Ria and Ton, the communal evening meal was superb including an aperitif and introductions to make everyone feel at home. There is place to do your washing by hand or machine, and a good breakfast too. A brilliant place to stay!

A very beautiful albergue with cozy common room with a lot of books and games. it can be cold during the night but the owners also offer blankets.
Breakfast was way too good for €4 (real full breakfast!)
